What to visit
Bordeaux is famed for its wines, gastronomy and its “art de vivre”. But it is also known for its historical heritage, so the contrast with its other resolutely modern contemporary architecture is sure to come as a surprise for visitors.
There are so many different ways you can explore the city: take a stroll to the World Heritage-listed Port de la Lune, marvel at the exhibits of its numerous museums, or hire a bike to discover the different areas of the city and the sights and monuments it has to offer…
The only risk here is that you won’t be able to fit everything in and you’ll be wanting to come back for more!
